Calibre AppImage

Ok, for whatever reason Calibre via WINE became uncooperative in MX19 so bit bullet and tried unofficial linux appimage Calibre. I had tried their official universal linux install Calibre in EasyOS, it would load but not function, why I used the old XP Calibre in WINE. Plus current Calibre is a large download.

Anyway this unofficial appimage version made executable worked fine. You dont install appimages you just make them executable and run them, basically become portable. Though put up permissions fuss when I moved book from EasyOS to MX.

I think Calibre people missing a bet not offering an official appimage. Its a little bigger than version you install cause it includes many of its own needed libraries. But as fussy as the traditional linux version Calibre can be, the appimage seems a no brainer.
