Interesting open source android app Librera
Its an android ereader app, and alas of course cant do Kindle books cause of their DRM. But its really well thought out app. I had it on my phone though rarely used it, just not a phone person. But it could use the built in Google text to voice and read a book. Nice if you dont want to stare at a tiny screen to try and read.
So was wondering about it in Waydroid-Lineage. Well it installs and works quite well for reading. BUT Waydroid's Lineage is vanilla without any Google helpers. So no text to voice. But found an open source text to voice called RHVoice. Installed it in Lineage and set it to be default text to voice engine. Librera can use it.
Oh librera has nice option to view and download books from Project Gutenberg which has large collection of public domain books. So if you read books without DRM nonsense, well Librera is great choice for an ereader.
