screen door hook and eye latch

I needed couple hook and eye latches for screen door. Wasnt that impressed with shipping cost of ones online, plus unless you buy ten or more at time, the cost is rather salty. compared to what it must cost to manufacture them. I looked through few cans of misc and found couple I already own. But no eye screws for them to hook into. And the second one doesnt even have the eye screw to anchor it. Eye screws are just big PITA to find decent price on, some wanted almost as much for ONE eye screw shipped as for whole latch assembly.

Well raccoon figured out how to unhook my temporary make do baling wire latch this morning to make a cat food raid. So incentive aplenty. I got the mig welder out and welded lock washer to head of a wood screw (made three). It works. Fiddly kind of thing to do but lot easier and cheaper than trip to town or waiting two weeks for it to arrive in mail. I took pic of one of them, will hopefully post it sometime.
